On the one hand: HA! On the other hand, I don’t think books should be banned. But on yet another hand, I’ve heard that people from Appalachia were very pissed off at this book for its unkind, and apparently inaccurate depiction of the people there, especially since he really didn’t live all that long there before he moved away.
Yes, yes, and yes! And while, in theory, I don’t think books should be banned, I’ve reached the point where I’m perfectly fine with these people getting a taste of their own medicine. Thanks for reading and commenting, Davida.
