Oh dear, I missed Agatha Christie’s birthday, which was yesterday (September 15). So here, with my apologies for being late, is Liberty Hardy’s list of references to the Queen of Crime in popular culture (TV, films, and literature).
I absolutely adore the film Knives Out. As soon as Benoit Blanc opened his mouth, I howled, right in the movie theater, much to my daughter’s chagrin. (Even though she’s no longer a teenager, she’s still, once in a while, embarrassed by me). However, I wasn’t the only one laughing. Watch the movie and let me know what you think.
I’m a big Agatha Christie fan from way back. And I was never able to guess the murderer.
Here’s a big confession from me: I’ve never read a Miss Marple book.
Gasp!! How about Hercule Poirot?
